Nomination for the ANCIB Award: check out the dissertation selected by the PPGCI
Published at: July 1, 2025 Category: NewsThe PPGCI/UFC is pleased to announce the results of the internal selection process for the dissertation that will represent the program in this year’s edition of the ANCIB Award.
The National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Information Science (ANCIB) annually grants the ANCIB Award to master’s and doctoral graduates whose dissertations and theses, approved by Brazilian institutions accredited by CAPES and affiliated with the Association, have stood out for their contributions to the advancement of the field.
Three dissertations were nominated for the evaluation phase, which was conducted blindly by an external committee. The review panel was composed of Prof. Dr. Laiana Ferreira Sousa Dantas (UFC), Prof. Dr. Gabrielle Francinne de Souza Carvalho Tanus (UFRN), and Prof. Dr. Márcia Regina Silva (USP).
Following a thorough evaluation of the submissions, the results are as follows:
1st Place
Student: Ana Wanessa Barroso Bastos
Advisor: Prof. Dr. Jefferson Veras Nunes
Title: Network of affection and memories: a content analysis of the handwritten dedications between Rachel de Queiroz and Manuel Bandeira
2nd Place
Student: Luciano Pereira dos Santos Cavalcante
Advisor: Prof. Dr. Maria Áurea Montenegro Albuquerque Guerra
Title: Information literacy in the use of Google Classroom as a teaching tool in University Libraries
3rd Place
Student: Lidya Nágylla de Almeida Silva
Advisor: Prof. Dr. Heliomar Cavati Sobrinho
Title: Indexing Policy and documentary languages in brazilian Federal Universities
