Professor Andréa Soares Rocha da Silva, PhD, successfully passed her Memorial Defense held on March 27, 2026, and has been promoted to Full Professor at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).

The examining committee included faculty members from different fields, reaffirming the interdisciplinary nature of the professor’s academic trajectory. The committee was composed of Professor Andréa Silvia Walter de Aguiar, PhD; Professor Maria Eneide Leitão de Almeida; Professor Antonio Clecio Fontelles Thomaz, PhD; and Professor Lidia Eugenia Cavalcante, PhD.

The occasion was attended by family members, friends, colleagues, students, advisees, scholarship recipients, and members of the Education, Technology and Health Group (GETS), led by the professor.
