Agreement with the University of Ferrara marks a new stage in PPGCI’s internationalization!
Published at: March 3, 2026 Category: NewsPPGCI celebrates another important step in its internationalization process with the formalization of a technical-scientific cooperation agreement between the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and the University of Ferrara (Unife), in Italy. The agreement was signed on January 20 of this year and will remain in effect for five years, providing for the development of joint actions in the areas of research, teaching, and academic exchange.
Among the first concrete outcomes of the agreement is the exchange of two PPGCI/UFC master’s students to Unife, scheduled to begin in May 2026. During this period, the students will carry out activities related to their research in the areas of cultural mediation and pedagogical mediation, expanding international dialogue and strengthening their studies.
Another significant result of the agreement was the visit of Professor Andrea Rubin, from Unife, as a visiting scholar at the Department of Information Sciences and PPGCI, in addition to his activities at the Casa de Cultua Italiana. During his stay, lectures, meetings with research groups, and seminars with faculty and students were held, strengthening collaboration between the institutions.
These initiatives reaffirm the Program’s commitment to academic excellence, scientific cooperation, and the consolidation of partnerships aimed at enhancing its presence in the international scenario.
