| It deals with User Studies in social networks in university libraries. The interest in continuing to study the topic was because we realized the need to systematize the research based on the specificities of the public that make up the Library System of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Therefore, with this proposal, we are seeking, to highlight users linked to the areas of Technology and engineering, as well as those coming from Natural and Exact Sciences courses. Thus, the research proposes to verify how social networks can enable interaction with the academic community, based on the following investigative question: How can and should libraries on the UFC Pici Campus interact through social networks with their users? In this sense, it aims to show the contribution of using social media communication tools to improve the products and services offered by the libraries in focus. In this way, we believe that the research will contribute to demonstrating in greater depth the theoretical links between the highlighted themes, as well as contributing to the emergence of increasingly significant uses of information, capable of addressing the needs raised by the academic community. |
